About the Role: JCS Carolinas, a leader in siding, roofing, deck, and screen room installations, is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure project success. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role is key to managing bids, training employees, conducting meetings, and ensuring efficient project execution while upholding our high standards and company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments including Sales, Project Management, and Estimating.
- Manage division P&L, project budgets, timelines, and costs to meet profit expectations.
- Train and mentor staff, ensuring proper staffing and continuous development.
- Conduct weekly production and scheduling meetings; provide updates to the CEO.
- Review and approve project costs, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Ensure client satisfaction through quality control and timely project delivery.
- Lead process improvements in both office and field operations.
Qualifications:
- Positive "Can Do" attitude is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of construction management experience, preferably in siding and roofing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and construction software like PlanSwift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
