As DXP’s Human Resources Business Systems Manager you’ll be responsible for understanding core Human Resources (HR) business processes and enabling support and maintenance of the Human Recourses Information Systems (HRIS) delivering these processes. The person in this role serves as the primary IT resource to HR Partners, Managers and other leaders within the organization as it relates to system data and configuration. You will serve as subject matter expert and point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and ensuring data integrity, configuration and testing of system changes and the analysis of data and workflows to further process improvement opportunities. INFOR software experience is required.
Responsibilities of the IT HRIS Business Systems Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Overall HRIS support: this would include accurate and timely entry of transactions, responding to internal customer phone calls and emails regarding changes, configuration, reporting and system or data issues
- Develops reports to meet customer needs and drive business results and collaborates with other areas to accomplish complex reporting requests
- Explores best practices for HRIS configuration and provides consultation to better meet internal customer needs
- Manages execution of multiple HRIS requests simultaneously for new reports and data validation
- Coordinates efforts of HRIS vendors and 3rd party managed service providers
- Actively participates in the implementation and testing of new Infor functionality releases as needed
- Escalates or refers complex issues to IT or HR leadership as required to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensured integrity of data through regular audits, resolving irregularities and partners with team to research and correct discrepancies
- Participates in or creates integrations from Infor as needed
- Function as subject matter expert to optimize global use of Infor and HR technology solutions for enhanced operations and consistent user experience Assess system functionality and actively participate in project life cycles: requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, deployment and change management
- Participate and lead cross functional interview sessions to gather and elicit information from functional managers and staff regarding business processes
- Responsible for testing, change management and coordination of enhanced configurations related to system upgrades
- Development of user procedures, guidelines and documentation for HR technology systems
- Support the configuration and import data required for new employees during acquisition conversions
Qualifications of the IT HRIS Business Systems Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Technology, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or relevant business facing role
- Minimum of 2 years of Infor HCM or WFM system administration
- Participation in a full lifecycle Infor HCM or WFM implementation
- Infor certification or experience preferred, with applied knowledge of HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation and Benefit module configuration
- Infor security administration familiarity required
- Solid knowledge of principles, concepts and theories within HCM solutions with an ability to train and lead team members
- Applied experience gathering business process information and articulating findings to process models
- Proven ability to influence and drive toward agreement with cross-functional business teams
- Experience working at a detailed level, validating converted data and process materials
- Creation, organization and delivery of training materials and meetings
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Office tools
