Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of electrical construction projects from start to finish.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Oversee the scheduling and sequencing of electrical work activities.
- Conduct regular electrical inspections to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
- Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, and contract documents.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any design or construction issues.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders/GS’s/PM/General Manager.
- Provide progress reporting on areas such as sub-contractor performance, job progress, permitting, site issues, troubleshooting, and accident reports.
- Experience in the scopes above and knowledgeable of all commercial-related building trades.
- Keeping the job site clean and organized daily is a must.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying new ways.Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a commercial superintendent.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the commercial electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, specialty trade contractors, vendors, and employees.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Must have tech-savvy computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet searching is a must).
- Ability to implement and control job site safety, including proper attire, safety meetings, safety documentation, on-site safety postings, and strong knowledge of OSHA requirements.
- Ability to proficiently read, comprehend, and execute plan drawings.
- Proven track record for keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and maintaining the highest quality and adherence to plans and specifications (please submit project list).
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and customer-service focused.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to lead a crew of up to 20+ employees.
- Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bilingual is a plus.
