Position: Technical Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY
Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in SQL, CRM systems, Product Ownership, and Capital Markets to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison among stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that they align with business objectives.
- Perform complex data analysis with SQL to extract insights and support business decisions.
- Document and map current and future business processes, create use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop detailed business requirements and functional specifications for system enhancements and new products.
- Customize, configure, and administer the CRM system to cater to business needs.
- Act as a Product Owner within an Agile team, prioritizing and refining the product backlog.
- Conduct sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with the development team.
- Ensure timely delivery of product increments and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Apply knowledge of capital markets to understand and translate complex financial concepts into system requirements.
- Stay current with the latest trends and regulatory changes in the capital markets to inform strategic decisions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- Established experience in a Technical Business Analyst role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with CRM systems.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of capital markets and financial products.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP, CSM) are considered an asset.
