We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Contract Administrator to manage and oversee our company's contracts. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and ensuring the compliance of contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts covering a range of transactions.
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage contract expectations and terms.
- Ensure that contracts are executed in accordance with corporate strategies and legal requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, including the assessment of contractors' delivery against agreed terms and conditions.
- Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner, applying conflict resolution strategies where necessary.
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation, including original contracts, relevant correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, and clarifications.
- Advise and inform project managers and other internal departments about contractual rights and obligations.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of contracts and other documentation to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Implement and manage effective contract renewal processes.
- Coordinate with the legal department to ensure contract terms comply with legal statutes and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- Proven experience of 3+ years in contract administration or a related field.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and contract law.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills with both internal and external groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or similar.
