What You Need:
- Associates Degree in Engineering, Bachelor’s degree preferred3+ years of experience in heat treatment, particularly induction processes
- Knowledge of quenching, tempering, and GD&T principles
- Proven experience in tooling design, process improvement, and technical troubleshooting
- Experience with capital projects and APQP/PFMEA requirements
- Automotive experience highly preferred

What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Induction Heat Treat Engineer will provide critical engineering support to enhance the performance and durability of driveline components through advanced heat treatment processes. This role is pivotal in optimizing induction heating, quenching, and tempering techniques, directly contributing to the plant's new capabilities.
- Design, develop, and optimize heat treatment processes, including induction heating, quenching, and tempering.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality.
- Provide technical guidance for daily operations and long-term projects related to heat treatment.
- Utilize statistical data to drive process improvements and resolve issues.
- Design and test tooling, fixtures, and gauging for heat treatment applications.
- Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of heat treatment issues.
- Ensure processes meet production and quality standards, including APQP and PFMEA requirements.
- Support process changes, new product introductions, and equipment installations.
