Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Operating Room / Circulate Job Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 36 hours per week, Day/Evening, 12-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, with one day a week possibly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years - Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital - Must have completed a previous successful 13-week traveler assignment License: - Valid nursing license in the state of practice or a compact license from the permanent address state Certifications: - BLS certification through the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility location - Experience in procedures involving eyes: Vitrectomies/open globes, Free Flaps, DIEP flaps, acoustics, Plastics, micro-surgery - Completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years Job Description: - Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner - Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in surgical case progression and turnover between cases - Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care for perioperative patient complexity - Willingness to float and cover shifts in multiple units, depending on staffing needs
