Role Overview
You will be required to carry out field tests and investigations on exterior systems, including but not limited to, facades, upright walls, roofing, waterproofing and fenestration.
You will manage clients and provide reports and recommendations back to them in a timely and accurate manner, being their main point of contact, fielding any queries and technical questions they may have.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Participation on projects relating to building envelope, including facades, roofing and waterproofing, conducting field tests and and quality observations
- Conducting field investigations on facades and fenestration
- Provide recommendations based on the above
- Deep understanding of repair and restoration of exterior systems
- Accurately and timely responses to all technical questions
- Experience with commercial structures and concrete restoration
Requirements
- A relevant bachelors or masters degree in an engineering, architectural or construction field
- PE or RA license preferred
- IIBEC credentials preferred
- At least 8 years of relevant industry experience
- Relevant building envelope experience in facades and upright walls
- Assessment experience on existing structures and buildings
- In depth knowledge of all relevant building systems
- Willing and able to travel across multiple states
- Good computer and communication skills
