LHH Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 7 years of experience in technology and at least 5 years in a dedicated networking role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a regulated environment such as finance or healthcare, with strong certifications in networking and virtualization. Proficiency with Windows Servers, Active Directory, and VMWare is also essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage complex network solutions to ensure high performance and security.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve network issues across various platforms and technologies, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Cloud Integration: Collaborate with teams to integrate network solutions with cloud services, particularly within the Azure environment.
- Network Maintenance: Conduct network upgrades, configuration changes, and regular maintenance to ensure optimal network performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure network infrastructure adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements, especially in financial or healthcare environments.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and capacity, identifying and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
- Security Management: Implement and manage network security protocols to protect against data breaches and vulnerabilities.
- Team Collaboration: Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends to keep our network infrastructure current and effective.
- Windows & Active Directory: Manage and troubleshoot Windows Servers and Active Directory environments.
- VMWare Expertise: Utilize VMWare for virtualization needs, including VDI and VCP environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in technology, with at least 5 years in a networking role as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCIE or CCNP Certification.
- VMWare: VMWare Certifications (e.g., VDI, VCP).
- Windows/Microsoft: Relevant Windows/Microsoft Certifications.
- Cloud Experience: Proficiency with Azure environment.
- Regulated Environment: Experience working in financial or healthcare sectors.
- Role Experience: Current hands-on role as an individual contributor (Network Administrator or Network Engineer).
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, rated 10/10.
- Additional Skills: Exposure to Windows Servers, Active Directory, and VMWare.
