Important Note: This remote position is open to all experienced bankruptcy paralegals. Residence in or near a particular jurisdiction or city is not required.
Wright Law Group, a boutique law firm comprised of legal professionals who exclusively practice in the area of commercial finance enforcement, is looking for a Paralegal with substantial bankruptcy experience to join our tight knit firm. We work on behalf of sophisticated clients to: recover collateral, litigate deficiency balances, enforce judgments, and assert their rights in bankruptcy. Our clients include independent finance companies, financial institutions, and banks headquartered throughout the U.S. We value and evaluate based on the client experience. Outstanding client service, a team attitude and top-notch work product are the keys to success within our firm.
Over the course of a decade we’ve created an all remote working environment that fits our entrepreneurial spirit. We've built the processes, systems and culture to support our professionals wherever they are located. We expect our experts to operate with a high degree of autonomy, supported by a culture of collaboration within the firm. The right person for the job is ready to take personal responsibility for supporting the success of a busy nationwide bankruptcy docket and who doesn’t want, or need, to be micromanaged.
In order to join our team you must have a few specific attributes:
- We want a Paralegal who has a demonstrated history of operating independently to achieve case milestones and manage a busy and growing docket, not simply perform assigned tasks.
- We need you to have a minimum of 5 years cumulative experience in bankruptcy practice, and to have experience preparing, filing, and serving proofs of claim, motions for relief from stay, and basic plan objections.
- All candidates should have experience working with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, and preference will be given to those who also have experience in Chapter 11 matters.
- Experience communicating with courts, trustees, and opposing counsel to further client goals is desired, and the successful candidate will also have extensive experience reviewing incoming case filings and identifying issues and action items.
Compensation is based on experience and will include a base salary, competitive benefits package, and a monthly bonus earned by hitting key client service metrics.
You are encouraged to visit our website at www.replevin.com to learn more about us. If you are interested in joining our team, please submit your resume/CV along with a short introduction regarding your bankruptcy experience and abilities.
