Job Overview:
We are looking for an entry-level PLC Panel Builder to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 6 months to 1 year of experience in wiring industrial control systems. The successful candidate will assist in building and wiring control panels, ensuring close attention to detail and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control Panel Assembly: Work with experienced team members to assemble and wire PLC control panels, focusing on industrial control systems and low voltage control wiring (50V or less).
- Schematic Interpretation: Read and work directly from schematics, blueprints, and manufacturers' drawings to build control panels, particularly for large I/O density control systems.
- UL508 Compliance: Assist in constructing control panels in compliance with UL508 standards.
- Industrial Control Systems: Gain hands-on experience working with Allen Bradley/Rockwell or Siemens industrial control systems.
- Quality Control: Follow strict quality control procedures to ensure all panels meet required specifications and standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA 10 or 30 requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience required; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with wiring industrial control systems and low voltage control wiring (50V or less).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manufacturers' drawings.
- Basic knowledge of UL508 control panel design and construction.
- Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell or Siemens industrial control systems is a plus.
Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification required.
