We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity. All candidates must have an active DOD Secret Clearance or Public Trust designation to be considered for the position.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for the degree
General Experience:
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Web API, C#, TSQL, REST API, and Git or Azure DevOps (ADO) Source Control
- Experience with Docker, Microservices, and Entity Framework is considered a plus
Functional Responsibility:
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code using the .NET Framework, C#, RESTful APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Participate in projects that may require the use of Entity Framework, Microservices, and Docker containerization
- Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques frequently in your work
- Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and functionality
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while following best practices
- Maintain and improve existing software applications as needed
- Participate in code reviews, identifying, and fixing bugs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
