Electrical Engineer 4 - 24-Month W2 Contract - ONSITE in Mossville, IL

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
The Role will be primarily for developing a replacement for legacy Electrical and Electronic (E&E) components, Providing E&E Technical support for NPI or CPI projects, and Researching and developing the use of new E&E technologies to resolve obsolescence issues.

Typical task breakdown:
- Work in a team environment to identify test cases
- Testing all aspects of the product like function, performance, regression
- Setting up test environments, designing test plans, working with the team to develop test cases/scenarios/use cases and executing these cases.
- Running tests correctly and consistently
Interaction with team:
- Work closely with the design team to develop and perform the required test activities
Work environment:
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preference would be in computer or electronics engineering.
- Related BS or MS projects or internships will be considered if durations are included.
- Related Associate’s Degree will be considered with an additional two years’ experience (seven years minimum)
- PhD holders would be considered overqualified and will be declined.
- 5-7 years’ experience required.
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Experience with lab equipment – Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Operational Amplifiers.
- Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) tool/process
- Experience with Failure Mode Effect & Root Cause Analysis (FMEA) process
- Good documentation and presentation skills using MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

- Knowledge and experience with connectivity/telematics technologies
- Experience with Operating Systems: MS Windows 7,8,10, UNIX, Ubuntu
