Addison Group is hiring an HR Coordinator for our client, a highly reputable firm in the professional services industry known for its strong company culture and employee engagement initiatives.
Job Description:
The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting human resources policies and projects across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience in all facets of HR and work with a collaborative team. The role will be a hybrid position, requiring 3-4 days on-site each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tactical HR support to managers and employees across the company.
- Become a superuser of the HRIS system (Ceridian) to maximize its functionality and integration with other systems.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including preparation, due diligence, and onboarding of new teams.
- Manage the onboarding process for all new hires, ensuring a smooth pre-hire process, orientation, and new hire experience.
- Partner with internal teams to manage and stock the employee swag closet.
- Respond to inbound HR inquiries and requests with exceptional service.
- Collaborate on planned and ad hoc HR projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or coordinator role.
- Experience with a cloud-based HRIS system (Ceridian or similar) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, including employment law, compliance, compensation, and organizational development.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Additional Details:
- Hybrid schedule: 3-4 days on-site, 9 AM to 5 PM.
- Contract position with a duration of 6 months, with the potential for extension.
