Role: Junior Structural Engineer
Location: New York, USA
Salary: $75K-100K DOE
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborating closely with architects, civil engineers, and construction professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Analysis: Perform structural design and analysis for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and construction teams to develop and refine project designs.
- Construction Support: Provide technical support during the construction phase, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFI’s, and conducting site inspections.
- Code Compliance: Ensure that all designs meet industry standards, local codes, and IAS accreditation requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
What we need from you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or actively pursuing.
- 1-2+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design.
