Overview:
We are supporting a U.S. Government customer on a critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment. This program aims to introduce new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. We are seeking an Agile Coach who will serve as a servant leader, driving continuous improvements and empowering Agile Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead with a Lean-Agile mindset, helping teams adopt Lean-Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Drive the journey toward high-performing teams through transparency, empowerment, and continuous learning to promote business value delivery.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART), working with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to facilitate ART-level events, manage risks and dependencies, and escalate impediments as needed.
- Deliver SAFe course enablement trainings to teach and inspire others, fostering continuous education and certification opportunities.
- Produce and present ART-level metrics, teach problem-solving techniques, and support Scrum Masters/Team Coaches to encourage learning within Agile Teams.
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness and work with RTEs to organize and conduct PI Planning events with Product Management, Architects, Epic Owners, and Business Owners.
- Assist Product Management in building foundational knowledge, managing and prioritizing the ART Feature Backlog, generating a Vision, and creating Roadmaps.
- Define and document the ART’s development value stream, coach ART members on understanding and improving their value stream.
Required Skills:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.

- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of Agile experience with recent hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer.
- Strong problem-solving and influencing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Experience with software development teams and understanding of both SDLC and Agile Frameworks.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming.
- Skilled in using Jira software.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira Align and Confluence.
- Domain knowledge in Cyber Security.
- Working knowledge of technologies including Cloud Computing, Big Data, DevSecOps, and Automation.
- Ability to collaborate with RTEs and Scrum Masters/Team Coaches to remove impediments.
- Responsible for guiding ARTs to success in meeting PI objectives.
- Strong understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Ability to apply Agile best practices and techniques (Scrum/Kanban/XP) to facilitate both Team and ART-level activities.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree-level education.

- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II
