What you should know: This is an amazing opportunity to support the Executive Director and Deputy Director at a high profile, community driven non-profit organization dedicated to making an impact in the behavioral health sector. This is a key role part of a critical team doing important work you can feel good about! With around 130 employees, the organization focuses on providing mental health services that promote overall well-being.
A day in the life:
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in supporting executive leaders
- Disseminate policies and information; explain procedures to staff and the public
- Conduct independent research and prepare detailed reports
- Coordinate written and verbal correspondences, managing workflow proactively
- Screen callers and visitors, manage mail, and triage meeting requests
- Manage executive calendars, ensuring smooth coordination of meetings and agendas
- Prepare, maintain, and track agency contracts
- Organize and prepare meetings for the executive team, track action items and timelines
- Plan and coordinate seminars, conferences, and travel arrangements
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and one year of senior-level admin support, preferably in healthcare or legal settings
- Experience supporting high-level executives and public board of directors with a political emphasis
- Complex calendar management for multiple executives
- Contract management – Public contract law experience, a plus!
- Project management – Ability to coordinate and track significant projects
- Ability to simplify complex information for stakeholders
- Must possess a valid Oregon or Washington Driver's License, maintain an acceptable driving record and be insurable for travel between business offices and community locations
- Criminal history check required
Compensation and Benefits: $33 - $41/hour. Exempt compensation is based upon a 37.5 hour work week. Benefits include 95% employer-paid comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees, as well as PERS retirement contribution equal to an additional 32% of annual compensation.
