About the Role
As the Engineering Manager for Industrial Cooling Products, you will oversee all aspects of product development for industrial cooling equipment, from concept to launch. You will lead multi-functional teams through every stage of product development, ensuring timely launches and managing resources effectively. This role involves making key technical decisions, applying engineering knowledge to solve challenges, and translating customer needs into detailed product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design, engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
- Manage project timelines and resources for timely product launches.
- Make critical technical decisions considering performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Apply expertise in heat transfer analysis, thermodynamics, and sheet metal design.
- Develop and maintain development schedules to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to understand customer needs and market trends.
- Oversee regulatory compliance testing and third-party evaluations.
- Contribute to product roadmaps with technical insights and market understanding.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of engineering experience and 2+ years of people management experience.
- Expertise in refrigeration, cooling/heating system design, and heat transfer.
- Strong ability to build effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
