Job Title: Project Manager
Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania
Reports To: Vice President, EPS
Job Overview:
The Project Manager leads in the quotation, design, procurement, fabrication, and testing of packaged systems for commercial and industrial applications. Packaged systems may include pumps, air compressors, motors, piping, instruments, and control panels mounted onto a commonly fabricated steel base.

• Project Management
o Manage multiple projects independently including managing and scheduling (Gantt charts)
o Hold Primary responsibility for purchasing and expediting project components
o Supervise total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, quality, and budget.
• Mechanical Design
o Mechanical layout (Structural shapes and fabrication methods)
o Hydraulic design and layout including knowledge of fittings and methods.
o Pump sizing and selection
o Valve selection (Manual and automated)
o Provide technical assistance or interpretation, when required.
• Electrical Design
o Control panel design (Motor starters and control circuits)
o VFD or PLC selection and application
o Controls/Instrumentation/Communication
• Sales - Quoting
o Communicate with customers to determine requirements
o Formulate design to accomplish requirements
o Price components required
o Generate a proposal and present it to the customer
• 3-D CAD Experience
o Inventor or Solidworks competence
o Experience designing piping systems
o Knowledge of different piping systems (threaded and welded)
• All candidates must possess the following;
o Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
o Advanced computer and internet skills
o Able to work in a fast-paced environment
o Attention to detail
o Desire to produce a quality product
o 2 to 4-year degree or demonstrated experience in the field required
o Possess 5 years of project management experience
o Must be able to pass background and reference checks; as well as a drug test
Scope of Responsibility:
• Work with customers, shop and engineering to provide solutions to customer’s applications.
• Manage multiple projects independently, from design through fabrication.
• Independently design hydraulic, mechanical, and electric systems for engineered packages.
• Function and key decision maker on project purchasing and component selection.
• Project coordination and scheduling.
• Additional office/shop help as required to their abilities.
• This position requires the ability to supervise employees and subcontractors.
