Position: Sr. Systems Engineer with BLE/RF Experience
Duration: 12 month to perm hire
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm ON-SITE
Location: Arden Hills, MN
PR: $44.40 - $56.67
Must Haves:
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 3 years of experience with BLE / RF technologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in RF design, BLE protocols, signal processing, and medical device development.
- Tools and Software: Experience with RF simulation tools, embedded programming languages, and medical device development tools.
Plusses:
- Experience with IoT devices and applications.
- Knowledge of other wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, Zigbee).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for wireless medical devices such as IEEE 11073, ISO 13485, and FDA guidelines.
Day to Day/Core Responsibilities:
We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer who is well-versed in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Radio Frequency (RF) technologies, and the development of medical devices. This role involves leading the creation and integration of cutting-edge wireless communication systems for medical devices, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will guide system design and development, manage the integration and testing of BLE and RF systems, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and handle project management duties. Additionally, they will focus on optimizing system performance, creating comprehensive documentation, and upholding compliance with industry and medical standards, including FDA and ISO regulations.
