What You’ll Be Doing
In your role as Presales Solutions Engineer, you will support sales with technical expertise throughout the sales process – demos, POC’s, RFX’s as well as interaction with Professional Services, Product Development and partners. Using both technica land business knowledge, you will work on opportunities for both prospects and existing customers.
- Collaborate with Sales (Direct Sales and/or Partner Sales). Coordinating and prioritizing activities on a day-to-day basis, and conducting joint meetings with potential customers or new opportunities at existing customers
- Understand clients ’challenges and requirements. Prepare meetings, workshop presentations, or similar from the Presales’ side and deliver focused presentations and solution demos
- Stay up to date on Configitproducts, and how to position and communicate, including roadmaps and
- upcoming new features
- Collaborate with Professional Services. Solution Architects for defining solutions, Project Management for progress on ongoing projects, and Consultants for deep customer technical information
- Communicate with representatives of prospects, customers, and partners
- Engage with existing customers to offer the best Configit solution
What We Expect from You
Your Work Experience & Education
- Bachelor level in Engineering, IT, Computer Science,or similar
- 5+ years working experience in presales, consultancy, technical sales,or similar role in the software industry
- Experience with complex IT systems (ERP, CRM, CAD, PLM, etc.)
- Developer experience, e.g., C#, Java,React, SQL to be used for creating demos using customer data
- Ability to combine technical elements with business needs and business requirements of clients
- Have solid knowledge of manufacturing and configuration is a plus
