Peak Partners has a client who is a regional law firm looking for a Corporate Transactional Attorney. The firm offers a competitive compensation package with excellent benefits. This is a hybrid position located in Montgomery County, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in deal structuring and strategy development.
- Providing guidance on legal and regulatory issues related to a variety of complex business transactions and general corporate matters.
- Negotiating and drafting transaction agreements and conducting related due diligence reviews.
- Managing transaction closings and coordinating with clients and opposing counsel.
Qualifications:
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in Maryland (DC and VA a plus), or eligibility for admission by motion or examination.
- 3+ years of experience representing clients in business transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and finance.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for transactions.
- Desire for client interaction and building a practice.
