Revenue Management Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
Research and analyze current trends and propose revenue management strategies and methodologies to ensure that business objectives are achieved
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Create, adopt and utilize margin analysis reporting designed to help isolate revenue opportunities; evaluate, recommend and implement actions for revenue/margin correction and impeding revenue growth; lead sales and financial teams though recommendation; implement recommended changes
- Build and maintain data cubes from multiple sources, create scenario-based forecasts; measure business results vs. forecasts; create visual representations supporting insights; communicate and present to leadership
- Evaluate, develop and implement revenue management practices (i.e. procedures, revenue opportunities post-mortem analysis, reporting requirement gathering and implementing sales data capturing procedures), in collaboration with the Executive Sales Management team
- Download data from multiple sources, create scenario forecasts; analyze business results vs. forecasts; create graphs supporting insights; communicate and present to leadership
- Examine current revenue management processes; recommend and implement improvements; document process changes; reflect on implemented processes; innovate, re-invention and re-building current workflows
- Gather and assemble internal and market data; review pricing and cost trends; create process and assess margin impact of changes of Product Cost
- Maintain and update documentation of policies and procedures within workflow and projects.
- Categorize data by product, time frame, source, meat type, promoted product group; update multiple data cubes in collaboration with Information Technology department to define and manage
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- Two (2) years’ Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Power Bi & Alteryx experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITITES (KSA’s)
- Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions
- Ability to build relationships across functions and effectively guide multi-functional teams in project sessions
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy with the ability to consolidate multiple sources of information provide recommendation.
- Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word and Excel
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to travel up to 5% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 3 days at a time
