This is a full-time Payroll Coordinator position, working Monday through Friday (8am-5pm) with some overtime as needed. Job Duties:
- Entering data into appropriate software
- Auditing payroll time in system software
- Accurately inputting employee information such as: W4s, timecards, child support and garnishment deductions into system software
- Running reports/audits and following up for corrective action
- Communicating with managers and employees
- Working with compliance team to stay updated with state and federal regulations
- Provide verbal and written employment verification requests and assist employees with payroll issues
- Identifies ways to improve processes and efficiency; is open to communicating ideas for change
- Assist in the implementation of new payroll procedures and policies to improve efficiency and accuracy
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required
- Associate's degree or commensurate experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- High attention to detail
- Time and priority management to complete weekly tasks accurately to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrates capability in working with repetitive tasks
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Being adaptable to system and processing updates/changes
- Willingness to learn and grow within the department and company
