Capital Markets Analyst
Hybrid - Charlotte, NC
6-12-month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week)
Pay Range: $25-35/hour
Calculated Hire is in search of a Capital Markets Analyst for our Fortune 100 Financial Services company's Capital Markets team. You will be responsible for the following components:
Job Description:
- Analyze and reconcile complex financial data related to capital markets transactions.
- Support the trading desk by providing timely and accurate data analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Perform detailed financial modeling and analysis for various capital markets products, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or discrepancies in financial data.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to support trading strategies.
- Execute ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Capital Markets, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Top Skills:
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in financial modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Experience with Capital Markets systems and software.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, or other financial information platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel (Macros, VLOOKUPS), PowerPoint, Word.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE
- FINRA Series 7 license - DOES NOT NEED TO BE ACTIVE
- Familiarity with tableau - (team will build reporting off data)
- Knowledge of FX products, collateral, fixed income products, swaps experience, accounting, equity FX background, general ledger, client facing experience etc.
- Knowledge of and possess ability to interpret executed International Swaps and Derivatives Association
- Master Agreements (ISDA) and Credit Support Annex (CSA), MSFTA and GMRA documents
