Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge with physical and virtualized servers
- Demonstrated knowledge managing complex Azure and AWS environments
- Microsoft platform expertise: In-depth knowledge of computing, storage, networking, security, databases, and analytics.
- DNS registration and certificate experience, both on premise and public
- Proficiency with hyperconverged infrastructure, Windows Server, and Linux
- Strong design, architecture, installation and configuration experience of enterprise level virtual environments including High Availability and Fault Tolerant Features
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft environments; Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and Security Administration, Certification Authority (CA), SQL Server, O365, Exchange, SharePoint
- Understanding of Citrix Cloud, XenApp and XenDesktop services
- Demonstrated PowerShell scripting experience
- Experience strategically managing vendors and third-party service providers
- Demonstrated knowledge with TCP/IP, DNS, 802.1x, and DHCP protocols
- Skilled in Server hardware troubleshooting and configuration
- Commitment to continual development of technical skillsets and knowledge sharing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and mentor others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving talents
- Must be customer service oriented
- Excellent project management, documentation, and presentation skills
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years professional experience in IT, systems administration, networking, and related technical field.
- S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent proven professional experience.
- Must be flexible, self-organizing, independent, and ready to self-study emerging technologies.
- Experience with the following software/ applications/ tasks is required:
- Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure e.g. AHV, Prism, Async DR, block deployment and ongoing administration/maintenance.
- Microsoft Azure/Entra ID and Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificate authorities, and fluency in PowerShell
- Big Fix or Configuration Management solution; Endpoint Manager, Lifecycle, Inventory, and Compliance.
- Commvault Enterprise Data Protection
- VMWare vSphere and vCenter
- Network and Security protocols (Azure NSG)
- Experience administering and automating Windows and Linux servers and end-user workstations
- Familiar with administering Exchange system in a hybrid environment
- Ability to multitask between large and small projects as needed
