We are seeking Remote Customer Service Representatives for a contract role set to start 9/30/24.
Location: Remote work from home within New Jersey (NJ residents only)
$18.00 per hour, $19.00 per hour for bilingual (English/Spanish)
Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Eastern, lasting 3 weeks.
Hours of Operation:
Open Enrollment (11/1 – 1/31):
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST
- Saturday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
- Last two Sundays of OE: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
- Last three days of OE: 8:00 am to 10:00 pm EST
- One week after OE: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST
Non-Open Enrollment:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern
Job Description: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) assists consumers with inquiries related to health care coverage through the Marketplace:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in accordance with policies.
- Process applications and updates, interpret eligibility determinations, and enroll individuals in health plans.
- Document all interactions accurately and use appropriate systems.
- Provide translation services as needed.
- Escalate issues to designated staff for resolution.
- Attend meetings and maintain up-to-date knowledge.
Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- AA degree or higher preferred.
Background & Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of related experience.
- Strong data entry and telephone skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Previous customer service and call center experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
