A family office with offices in Manhattan is seeking an Office Maanger to join their company. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of office management experience. The role will be temp to hire.
Hourly pay rate: $45-55/hr. Perm: $125-130k base
This role is on-site five days per week.
Job duties:
- Oversee administrative areas to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate on Human Resource functions including hiring, onboarding, supervision, and termination of non-attorney staff.
- Facilitate office relocations, assignment adjustments, and new hires.
- Ensure necessary approvals for hiring and conduct interviews for new applicants.
- Manage the performance review process and conduct evaluations for staff under your direct supervision.
- Handle interactions with firm vendors and manage accounts payable.
- Oversee payroll and employee benefits administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or five years of office administration experience; management experience in a professional firm preferred.
- Skilled in managing diverse tasks, resolving complaints, and advising on policies and procedures.
- Strong supervisory abilities, including instruction, training, and team coordination for professional, technical, and clerical tasks.
- Capable of handling confidential information discreetly and resolving sensitive HR and administrative issues.
- Demonstrates initiative, critical thinking, and decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Proactive in problem-solving and follow-through.
- Excellent organizational skills for record-keeping, data analysis, and clear reporting in various formats.
