Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, collaborative work style and 3-5 years relevant experience with all areas of precision CNC machine tool use, including set up and operation of vertical mills. Responsibilities
- Programming, setup, operation and inspection of tight tolerance parts in CNC mills
-Use of wrenches, metal cutters, pliers, miscellaneous hand tools and overhead electric hoist
-Regular use of various electric, hydraulic or hand trucks to transport materials to/from production area and lift material to machine table height
-Perform TPM maintenance of equipment as required
-Detect and report defective equipment or material
-Observe and obey all safety rules, regulations and practices, while employing all safety equipment and devices
-Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed
Requirements
-Ability to read and interpret detailed print
- 3-5 years experience
-Strong attention to detail and quality control
-Prior experience in fabricating and programming is preferred
