THE VITAL ROLE YOU'LL HAVE
As an HR Generalist with our client, you’ll be at the heart of their human resources operations, collaborating with the HR Manager to ensure seamless employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance across multiple sites. You’ll maintain meticulous records, manage bi-weekly payroll, and ensure compliance with California wages and hour regulations. From spearheading recruitment efforts to overseeing the entire employee life cycle—onboarding, offboarding, leaves of absence, performance, and beyond—you’ll be the go- to person for all things human resources. You’ll also play a critical role in their talent development initiatives, helping to nurture and grow team members. Your ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with daily operations will be key to driving the company’s success.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
Our client is looking for an HR Generalist who can work a full-time schedule while also meeting the following qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related
● 3+ years of experience in human resources
● Strong knowledge of hiring processes
● Understanding of human resources best practices and current regulations
● Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
● Customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism and discretion
● Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
● PHR or SHRM-CP certified
● Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
