Research Lab Tech - Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5 (8-3 on Fridays)
Location: Tulsa, OK (74146)
Pay: $18 - $25/hour
We are seeking a Research Lab Tech to join a powerful team of cancer experts and advocates who invest in the health and well-being of our patients throughout treatment and beyond. As part of the team, you will be contributing to the most advanced, innovative, and cost-effective treatment options for patients.
Duties:
- Perform all lab management functions under direct supervision within the department.
- Track and manage lab information for patients registered on approved clinical treatment protocols.
- Manage the reporting of lab data to company sponsors and other relevant organizations.
- Ensure compliance by maintaining all research lab protocols and related reporting.
- Assist with pre-screening and screening processes for clinical trial eligibility of potential subjects.
- Communicate consistently and assist with new patient screening intake information.
- Support and adhere to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Phlebotomy OR Medical Assistant experience required.
- Two or more years of experience in Oncology/Research preferred.
- Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
