About the position
As a Consulting Leader at Persistent Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in leading and growing our consulting practice. You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key client relationships, and leading a team of high-performing consultants. Your role will involve providing strategic direction, ensuring delivery excellence, and expanding our market presence through innovative consulting offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, product, and business leaders, to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.
What you will do –
- Practice Leadership: Lead the consulting practice, defining and executing strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market differentiation. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Understand client needs, identify opportunities, and deliver impactful solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
- Business Development: Drive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and leading negotiations. Work closely with the sales team to expand our client base and deepen existing relationships.
- Delivery Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of project delivery, managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects across geographies. Oversee project teams, ensuring they meet client expectations, deadlines, and budgets.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants, fostering a high-performance culture. Provide guidance and support to ensure consultants grow professionally and contribute effectively to client engagements.
- Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought leader within the industry, representing Persistent Consulting at conferences, in publications, and through other channels. Develop and disseminate thought leadership content that reinforces our market position.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other leaders across Persistent Systems to align consulting initiatives with broader company goals, ensuring seamless integration of technology and business solutions.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the consulting practice, managing budgets, forecasts, and financial targets. Ensure the practice operates efficiently and profitably.
What you will bring –
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in consulting, with a proven track record of leading and growing consulting practices. Experience in BFSI, Healthcare, or Technology sectors is preferred.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
- Client Management: Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior-level client relationships, with a track record of delivering successful consulting engagements.
- Business Acumen: Strong business development skills with a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and competitive positioning.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans that align with company goals. Experience in driving innovation and thought leadership within the consulting industry.
- Project Management: Extensive experience in managing large, complex projects, with a focus on quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
