Job Title: Plan Setup Specialist
Location: Hybrid – Local in Mason, OH only
Job Overview:
This role is pivotal in setting up and maintaining our managed vision care clients within our core administration system. If you are passionate about ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up new Managed Care groups in our claims system.
- Fulfill requested revisions to existing Managed Care groups (excluding Reseller product changes).
- Create “standard” products using the Product Key Sheet method.
- Perform audits on client setup or maintenance requests (excluding complex product configuration).
- Adhere to corporate and industry audit controls (e.g., SOX, SSAE 18) in all setup and maintenance activities.
- Resolve client structure setup questions/issues with minimal supervisory guidance.
- Maintain strong relationships with Implementation Managers and Account Managers to ensure timely fulfillment of implementation requests.
- Self-manage work inventory in the Plan Setup production queues, meeting established quality and turnaround time guidelines.
- Recommend process and system enhancements to improve team performance.
- Support the management team with miscellaneous projects and resolve assigned Plan Setup issues.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with claims systems, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
