Position Overview:
Firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance - Banking and Lending Partner with a portable book of business to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience representing a wide range of clients, including investors, issuers, loan originators, and financial institutions, in complex secured and unsecured lending transactions. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to lead high-profile transactions and contribute to the growth of the finance practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Representation: Represent investors, issuers, loan originators, and their customers in a variety of complex lending transactions, including both syndicated and single-lender deals.
- Transactional Expertise: Provide expert counsel in term and revolving lending transactions, asset-based lending, structured finance, acquisition financings, revolving lines of credit, bridge loans, and financing of commercial assets.
- Private Credit: Advise private credit funds and other financial institutions on the structuring and execution of credit facilities.
- Loan Restructuring and Workouts: Counsel clients on loan restructurings, workouts, reorganizations, and loan sales, ensuring optimal outcomes in distressed situations.
- Secured Facilities: Specialize in senior secured credit facilities and senior secured convertible debenture facilities, delivering sophisticated solutions to complex financing needs.
- Cross-Border Transactions: Navigate the complexities of cross-border financing transactions, coordinating with domestic and foreign regulatory authorities as needed.
