Title- PMO Consultant (Project/Program/Stakeholder management)

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PMO Consultant having exposure to work for Global Pharmaceutical Development Company. The Consultant will support Project Management Office (PMO) by providing expert guidance on PMO tools and processes including project metrics, lessons learned, data analysis, project performance management and reporting. This role requires extensive experience in business operations, Power BI reporting, MS Project Online (MSPO), Planisware (if possible), and a solid understanding of Project Management and Drug Development processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging with key stakeholders to assess the current state, gather requirements, identify data sources, and propose effective solutions to meet our organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Metrics Analysis and Reporting: develop tools and processes to analyze and report on key project metrics to track project performance and inform decision making
- Lessons Learnt: develop tools and processes to enable effective capture, document analysis and reporting project lessons learned at key milestones in the project lifecycle.
- Operations Dashboard: design and develop an operations dashboard to provide real time insights into project performance and operational efficiency
- Business Operations support: provide operational support and expertise to enhance PMO efficiency and effectiveness
- Project Monthly Reporting: design prototype, develop and prepare comprehensive reports using Power BI and other tools.
- Project Risk Management: Assess current risk management process and tools, propose prototype for automation of risk reporting for monthly reporting and escalation.
- Project Performance Assessment: develop tools to assess project performance against baseline and to enable cross-project analysis to identify trends, common issues and opportunities for improvement
- Stakeholder Presentations: Professional presentations to stakeholders summarizing findings and recommendations
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Life Sciences or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. PMP) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a PMO role within the pharmaceutical industry or related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, MS Project Online (MSPO), Planisware (if possible) and other relevant project management and data analysis tools
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience in data analysis, data modeling and report development.
- Data Management: Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly..
- Project Management Knowledge: In-depth understanding of project management principles and methodologies, especially in drug development.
- Operational Expertise; Demonstrated experience in business operations within a PMO setting.
- Dashboard and Reporting Development: Proven experience in designing and developing operations dashboards and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
