What You’ll Be Doing:
- Compassion in Action: You will guide families through every step of planning, from heartfelt conversations to tailoring ceremonies that reflect their loved ones’ lives. You’ll turn memories into celebrations!
- Master of Details: Oversee everything from embalming to the perfect placement of flowers. We trust you to ensure everything runs smoothly – it’s all in the details!
- Document Wizardry: Handle the legal stuff like permits, death certificates, and more, so families can focus on what truly matters.
- Cultural Connector: Celebrate the beautiful diversity of Cleveland by honoring different customs, traditions, and rituals from various backgrounds and religions.
- Team Leader: Lead and inspire our amazing staff to deliver exceptional care and create a peaceful, welcoming environment.
- Comfort Creator: In moments of sudden loss or crisis, you’ll be the calm, compassionate guide, offering support and resources to help families.
- Community Rockstar: Be a familiar face in Cleveland! Represent our funeral home with pride in community events and local organizations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer (Ohio or able to get licensed here).
- Proven experience as a Funeral Director (bonus points for organizational skills and top-notch communication).
- Strong knowledge of funeral service laws and regulations – you’re the expert.
- A compassionate, friendly personality with a knack for making people feel at ease.
- Grace under pressure – you’re cool, calm, and collected, even when things get emotional.
- Bonus: Experience with different cultural and religious traditions.
