Our client is a Chambers rated tier practice and firm, whose Employment Law practice group is seeking to an add an Associate with between 3-to-5 years of management-side Labor and Employment experience to their team. Experience in a peer firm or Big Law setting is preferred. This is an ideal situation for an Associate looking to build on their experience thus far.
The Associate must have experience with management side matters and litigations involving employment discrimination, harassment retaliation defense, wage and hour disputes and contract disputes in both federal and state courts. Experience also required on advice and counsel matters including compliance related issues and training, policies, employee contracts and restrictive covenants.
Superior drafting abilities producing top tier work products, strong presentation abilities, trial experience and the ability to communicate effectively with constituents inside and outside the firm are required.
The firm and this group are seeking a committed and disciplined individual interested in building subject matter expertise with a team of multigenerational leaders and peers. A top group and situation. JD with NY Bar admission (in good standing) required. Compensation includes a salary of 180K-205K+, solid benefits and an Associate manageable hours-based (1800+) bonus.
