Qualifications and Skills Required:
Education and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of industrial experience, or Master’s degree with at least 2 years of industrial experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Robotics.
- 3-5 years of software development experience specifically for robotics products, preferably with more than 3 years in a regulated product development or medical device manufacturing environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing software for robotic systems, including the application of AI/ML models for computer vision in real-time scenarios.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience with ROS2/ROS.
- Familiarity with AI/ML and computer vision libraries like OpenCV, Tensorflow, and Pytorch.
- Expertise in software version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working with real-time Linux.
- Practical experience with robotic systems and perception sensors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent documentation abilities.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in the development of autonomous systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test software for robotic systems.
- Integrate various system components to ensure cohesive functionality.
- Conduct system performance analysis and implement improvements to enhance performance.
