Seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager with a strong background in managing ground-up retail projects from inception through completion. Project ranging from $10-$50M. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and projects are completed on schedule.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project costs and budgets, approving invoices and managing change orders as needed.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.
- Lead project meetings, providing updates to clients and stakeholders on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in ground-up retail construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations specific to retail projects.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
