As the Solutions Product Manager for Delta’s Energy Infrastructure Business, you will be at the forefront of innovation, transforming Delta from a product and service provider to a comprehensive solution provider. Your expertise in energy infrastructure, including BESS, PV, and EV charging, will be crucial in developing cutting-edge Solutions that meet the needs of clients deploying Utility and C&I scale renewable energy.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Deep knowledge of topology, modelling and control of various types of power converters such as AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, and DC/AC inverters, including resonant and multilevel converters.
- Intimate familiarity with digital control theory and its implementation in high-frequency power conversion circuits with embedded microcontrollers (MCU, DSP, FPGA) to achieve high bandwidth control.
- Excellent practical skills in using C, C++, Assembly, and VHDL/Verilog programming languages.
- Strong hands-on experience coding TI (C2000 family) and Microchip DSPs and MCUs.
- Proficiency in using simulation and math software such as MATLAB/Simulink, MathCAD, SIMPLIS, and PLECS-Plexim.
- Experience in verification of firmware/software (e.g., processor in the loop, hardware in the loop, etc.)
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and UART.
- Hands-on experience with designing, debugging, and testing of power converters.
Qualifications
- M.S. degree with 5 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering
- Prospective candidates should possess excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (fluency in Mandarin is preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preference will be given to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
