A pioneering aerospace technology and services company is currently seeking a Senior ERP Solution Specialist to join their SAP ERP MRO team.
Position Overview:
The Senior ERP Solution Specialist will be a key member of the MRO team, responsible for the overall design and implementation of MRO solutions within the existing SAP iMRO landscape. This role involves working closely with internal ERP workstreams and business customers to deliver robust MRO solutions that align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive aerospace industry knowledge and SAP iMRO expertise to drive effective MRO system configurations and deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and optimization of MRO solutions within the SAP iMRO environment.
- Manage the deployment of MRO solutions across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the MRO system.
- Work closely with internal ERP workstreams to ensure cohesive integration of MRO solutions with other SAP modules and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business customers to gather requirements, provide solutions, and address any issues related to MRO processes.
- Oversee the rollout of MRO solutions, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure successful project delivery by coordinating with various teams and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor and assess the performance of the MRO system, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
- Provide ongoing support for MRO system issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for MRO system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of the MRO system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP systems management with a focus on MRO, including experience with SAP iMRO.
- Proven track record in designing and deploying MRO solutions within an SAP environment.
- Experience with other SAP modules such as materials management, planning, purchasing, and finance is advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of aerospace industry practices and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and business customers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
