We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Component Airframe Supervisor to join our Client's team in Phoenix Arizona. This role involves overseeing the inspection and maintenance of aircraft components according to manufacturer's specifications and industry standards. The Airframe Supervisor ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and leads a team in conducting precise measurements and minor repairs as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process inspections on aircraft components to ensure adherence to manufacturer's specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe components.
- Document inspection findings accurately and maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and depth gauges to ensure accuracy in measurements.
- Follow repair station manuals and adhere to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
- Conduct and oversee tasks such as bearing race removal and installation, and air retention checks on aircraft wheels.
- Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and professional manner, adhering to established safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Airframe License is required.
- Proven experience in performing aircraft component inspections and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using micrometers, vernier calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately, completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Strong understanding of manufacturer's component maintenance manuals and repair station manuals.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and supervisors.
- Physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see colors.
- Compliance with drug-free policies, including passing pre-employment and random drug tests, as well as background checks.
Work Schedule:
- Typically Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime as required.
