The Commissioning Manager/Director will be responsible for planning, supporting, and implementing construction project completions and pre-commissioning/commissioning of various facilities, including commercial and industrial installations. This role will involve tracking and testing various facilities, managing completion documentation, and verifying alignment with project contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and adhere to company and site safety policies, actively participating in all site safety activities.
- Lead the review of contractual specifications for project completion and pre-commissioning requirements.
- Coordinate activities and directly engage with client operations and commissioning staff.
- Manage coordination with the client's DCS contractor.
- Control and forecast the complete budget for pre-commissioning/commissioning, including specialty subcontractors, training, and chemicals.
- Develop a strong understanding of the prime contract and project procedures, ensuring implementation of project requirements and developing additional procedures as needed.
- Manage all aspects of the pre-commissioning schedule, including specialty subcontract and vendor training.
- Supervise tracking, reporting, and turnover documentation of projects, ensuring field teams understand and implement tools according to specifications.
- Plan and communicate vendor requirements with personnel performing commissioning efforts on client projects.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans.
- Oversee the pre-commissioning team during the execution of completion and commissioning activities.
- Support constructability reviews.
- Lead accept/reject verifications of construction status and completion on equipment.
- Inspect installed devices and complete field-required setups and verifications.
- Coordinate and oversee checkout, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases, addressing problems and routine requirements of equipment and devices.
- Ensure proper documentation of activities is maintained and processes are followed to support record-keeping and reporting requirements, including turnover documentation.
- Lead area commissioning managers and pre-commissioning personnel in activities required by the Completions and Commissioning department.
- Manage projects for Completions and Commissioning, including proposal support.
- Understand the operation processes and procedures of various testing equipment, logical controllers, and field control systems (PLCs) as integrated into startup procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED and 11 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience, or
- Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field and 9 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience, or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field and 7 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in Bluebeam and cloud-based software.
