Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a day shift Surgical Assistant in West Chester Ohio. As a surgical assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the patient’s position is comfortable and safe, while achieving the exact position that will give the best exposure for the surgical procedure. Padding all points of pressure: elbows, heels, knees, eyes, face, & axially region. Knowledge about common positions related to surgical procedures and is able to use the following equipment for positioning: fracture tables, head stabilizers, body stabilizers, C-arm extensions, and any other equipment needed.
Requirements:
- Must have one of the following certifications: NSAA, CFA, PA-C, or CRNFA
- Associates Degree
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, excellent eye-hand coordination, and ability to stand for long periods.
- Sports Med/Ortho experience
Compensation:
$30 to $36 per hour.
