What you’ll be doing:
- Design fixtures, tooling, and material handling solutions to support manufacturing operations and processes.
- Collaborate with product engineering and quality teams to ensure process capability and meet project goals.
- Develop and maintain all technical drawings related to equipment layouts, tooling, fixtures, and material handling systems.
- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams, ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with customer technical specifications and relevant government regulations.
- Oversee the management of manufacturing deliverables from project approval to product launch.
- Propose and implement ideas to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency.
- Work closely with product engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure the successful launch of new products.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience preferred
- Proficiency in engineering and CAD systems, including Minitab and SolidWorks.
- Experience with gage R&R’s, capability studies, and DOE’s. Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with PFMEA disciplines for industrial layout and machine design.
- Expertise in GD&T standards, fixture design, manufacturing processes, and machining techniques.
