Job Summary: The Intersect Group is seekinga highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator for our direct client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the ServiceNow platform, as well as leading a team of ServiceNow administrators. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features that meet business needs. The ServiceNow Administrator will also participate in Scrum meetings, develop reports and dashboards, and train end-users on ServiceNow best practices. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades, patches, and integrations with other systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow modules, workflows, and custom applications.
- Lead and mentor other ServiceNow administrators, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to ServiceNow.
- Participate in SCRUM meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in ServiceNow.
- Train and support end-users in the use of ServiceNow.
- Manage ServiceNow instances, including security and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow modules, workflows, and custom applications.
- Conduct ServiceNow platform assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
- Provide technical expertise on ServiceNow to other IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow APIs and web services.
- Design and implement ServiceNow security policies and procedures.
- Create and manage ServiceNow notifications and alerts.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow automation scripts.
- Work with external vendors and consultants to ensure the smooth operation of ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to build and maintain ServiceNow plugins.
- Maintain and improve ServiceNow CMDB and Asset Management.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow incident management and problem management processes.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, workflows, and custom applications.
- Knowledge of SCRUM methodology and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including REST APIs, LDAP, and SSO.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- ServiceNow certification preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM, and ITBM modules.
- Experience with ServiceNow HR, Security Operations, and Customer Service Management modules preferred.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and CMS.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
