Position Overview:
We are looking for an Application Engineer with a strong foundation in HVAC design or equipment sales. In this role, you will assist customers and partners in incorporating cutting-edge technology into engineering plans for commercial buildings throughout North America. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct product training sessions and market education for manufacturer representatives and partners across North America (with up to 30% travel).
- Support Regional Sales Managers by analyzing project blueprints, specifications, and ventilation load calculations.
- Create and maintain technical resources to drive product adoption.
- Ensure seamless integration of technology into engineering drawings.
- Utilize CRM data to derive product insights.
- Contribute to the creation of sales and marketing materials, such as blog posts, presentations, case studies, and conference content.
- Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to brainstorm new product ideas and innovations.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in HVAC design or equipment sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in presenting to large groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Revu Bluebeam.
- Experience working with CRM platforms.
- Active participation in industry organizations (e.g., ASHRAE, USGBC).
- Experience with energy modeling.
