- At least five years of related work experience required
- 3 years of management experience preferred
- Seven years of related work experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Building an assortment that achieves planned KPIs
- Manages Open to Buy ensuring sales, margins, turns, and profitability are within plan
- Analyzes vendor performance and independently negotiates all aspects of profitability including VAs, RTVs, off-price buys to maintain margin expectations
- Gives direction on regular, promotional, and clearance pricing
- Partners with planner on product flow and inventory management
- Collaborates with Replenishment Analyst on inventory levels and distribution at total and store level
- Collaborates with Omnichannel Merchandiser regularly on assortment, placement, promotions, and marketing
- Oversees advertising for assigned categories, including item selection, layouts, and proofing
- Analyzes ads and drives change to optimize ad performance
- Conducts line reviews for assigned categories
- Initiates and approves Plan-O-Grams
- Recommends in-store merchandising opportunities
- Provides leadership and direction to Suppliers and Sourcing on product development
- Works with stores and distribution center to answer questions, and identifies and resolves issues
- Searches for new suppliers, categories, and items
- Shops competition to compare products, pricing, merchandising, etc.
- Manages, mentors and develops team leading to career advancement
- Required to learn company policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned

- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
- Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
