Responsibilities
-This position will initially involve a combination of field work, such as sampling, drilling oversight, and remediation oversight, as well as office-based work, including project management support, data analysis, and report preparation. It is expected that the candidate's office-based responsibilities will increase significantly over time.
The candidate will:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of field programs, such as site and remedial investigations, Phase II subsurface investigations, remediation, and post-remediation monitoring programs.
- Support due diligence projects, including Phase I ESAs and NJDEP preliminary assessments.
- Lead the development of technical documents, such as work plans, due diligence reports, remedial investigation reports, remedial action reports, feasibility studies, and post-remediation monitoring reports.
- Assist with project management and business development tasks, such as scope development and proposal writing.
- Train and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications
-B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or other related discipline
-At least 4 years of environmental consulting experience
- The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing and communication skills and demonstrated experience with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and Division of Land Resource Protection (DLRP) permitting
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
