The Position:
This sales leader will have a desire to succeed, learn, and grow a new and established territory to the next level. The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting Mead O'Brien's corporate culture, mission and vision within the Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma regional territory. The Sales Representative must be actively engaged in direct customer sales, able to develop customer relationships, and be knowledgeable of the territory's overall business environment including customer base, manufacturers, competition, workforce and business operations. The industries covered include industrial and institutional markets. Manufacturers represented include: Limitorque, Ashcroft, ASCO, Bermad, Crispin, Shannon Thermal Insulation, Valmet (Jamesbury, Neles, Stonel) and Clark-Reliance. In addition to providing technical solutions, the Outside Sales Representative should be able to identify opportunities through problem solving, qualifying and building customer relationships. We believe in personal development and will support that growth by providing professional sales and product training.
Requirements:
- Track record of consistent sales growth, sales plan development, and achieving or exceeding sales plan.
- Associates degree or 3 years minimum B2B sales
- Experience providing integrated solutions to achieve customer process objectives.
- Engineering or sales experience with valves, valve automation, instrumentation, or steam specialties.
- Degreed or related experience.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form.
- Valid and verifiable driver's license and record. Must be able to fulfill requirements of Company Fleet Policy.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, training and safety clearances.
